Universally, the 14th day of February is the only day in the calendar known to express love to your loved one. Do you agree? Well, I don’t.
For me everyday should be Valentine’s Day. Why just wait for that one day to shower your girlfriend/boyfriend with tonnes of gifts, flowers, chocolates, etc? It would be nice to have that excitement, surprise, anticipation and romantic gesture every now and then.
I spent this Valentine’s Day at a Vir Das gig followed by a nice dinner and movie with a bunch of friends. Roses, chocolates and everything else are fine, but since this is a FASHION blog I took a slightly different turn. The obvious choice; picking a piece of clothing that went along with the Valentine’s Day spirit. Pink and red of course was the obvious choice I went with and it looked strikingly modish if you ask me.
I wore this fuscia pink top with a high waisted lace skirt, as lace is known to make any outfit look sexy. I wore red shoes along with a pink and white neck piece since it worked well with the outfit (and with the Valentines theme). I also carried this beautiful orange textured clutch (which is currently my favorite accessory) to add a pop of color to my outfit.

Top/Skirt – Zara, Clutch – Colaba, Ring – Linking Road, Necklace – Gift from cousin, Shoes – Sirens
